FAQ

Can children who aren’t good at drawing still participate?

Yes, absolutely!
It doesn’t matter if they’re good at drawing or not. Even simple coloring or drawing lines can reflect your child’s feelings and individuality.
What matters most is that they draw freely and comfortably.

What age range is this service for?

It’s designed for children aged around 3 to 10.
We adjust themes and interpretations according to their developmental stage. Children with various needs are also welcome to join.

How long does it take to receive the report?

About 2 to 3 weeks after uploading the drawing.
Once the report is ready, you’ll receive a notification by email and it will be available on your My Page.

If I sign up in the middle of the month, can I still receive a report for that month?

Yes, if you upload the drawing by the 15th of the month,
we will provide a report for that month.
Uploads after the 15th will count toward the following month.

What if I want to use the service for multiple children (siblings)?

A separate subscription is required for each child.
This allows us to tailor the themes and feedback individually for each child.

Can I cancel or pause the service?

Yes, you can cancel or pause your subscription anytime from your My Page.
You can also resume easily whenever you’re ready, at your own pace.

Voice of a Parent ①(Mother of a 5-year-old girl)

“I had no idea my daughter’s drawing held such deep feelings…”
I was moved to tears when I read the report.
We hadn’t been facing any particular issues, but I realized how rare it is to truly understand what our children are feeling inside.

Voice of a Parent ②(Father of a 7-year-old boy)

“It’s amazing that just drawing at home can support a child’s emotional well-being.”
This service is perfect for families who don’t necessarily need to visit a clinic, but still have small concerns.
The psychologist’s comments were easy to understand and gave me peace of mind.

Voice of a Parent ③(Mother of a 6-year-old Highly Sensitive Child)

“Even though my son couldn’t tell me what was wrong, I realized he had been expressing it through his drawings.”
The psychologist’s gentle words were not only comforting for him — they truly helped me as well.

Voice of a Parent ④(Mother of an 8-year-old boy who is not attending school)

“When I read the words ‘I see more colors of peace in this drawing’ in the report, I felt truly relieved.”
I realized that drawings can reveal more about a child’s inner world than words ever could.
By having my son draw regularly, I’ve become more aware of the subtle changes in his emotions.

Voice of a Parent ⑤(Family using the service for siblings)

“Each of my children draws such different pictures — it made me realize they each have their own unique world.”
Reading the reports has become a special time for me to truly connect with each of them, one by one.

Message from a Psychiatrist

A child’s heart is incredibly delicate—and often difficult to express in words.

Especially during early childhood to elementary school years, it can be hard for children to verbalize their emotions. As a result, parents and caregivers may unintentionally overlook subtle signs of distress or change.

Cocoro Colors is an excellent approach that uses drawing—a natural and familiar form of expression—to access a child’s inner world.

With professional feedback from psychologists, parents are more likely to notice emotional changes in their children, which can lead to early understanding and appropriate support.

For families who feel that visiting a clinic might be too much, but still have lingering concerns,
a service like Cocoro Colors offers an accessible and preventive form of emotional care—something I believe is essential in today’s world.

Message from an International School

In Montessori education, we place great importance on the inner growth of each individual child.

A child’s “inner voice” is often difficult to grasp through words alone. It requires daily observation and gentle, thoughtful communication.

Cocoro Colors is a wonderful tool that quietly reveals how a child is feeling and how they perceive the world—through the natural expression of their drawings.

The feedback provided to parents also helps align the home and school, allowing both to support the child’s development in the same direction.

We deeply value the ongoing role of Cocoro Colors as a “bridge of the heart” that connects families and educators in supporting each child’s growth.
